Fejø is the largest island in Småland’s waters. It is renowned for having the best climate for growing fruit in northern Europe. The countryside is hilly with innumerable viewpoints to look out over the sea.
The island, with its untouched nature and beaches leading into shallow water is ideal for families with children.
Suggestions for excursions: Supplies can be bought in the small village of Østerby a few minutes from Dybvig, where there is also a restaurant. Cyclists can use the path along the dyke to Skalø, while on both sides of the dyke there is one of Denmark’s best bird reserves.
