The municipal fishing and yachtharbour in the southern part of Neustadt Bay is a boatyard harbour and home to several sailing clubs. The harbour is well protected and has a depth of 2 to 3 metres. Part of the inner harbour is reserved for fishing boats and passenger ships. Free berths are indicated by green signs. A good landmark is a 120 m high hotel. Niendorf‘s harbour belongs to the Baltic Sea resort Timmendorfer Strand. This resort can offer all facilities imaginable. A boatyard in the harbour provides comprehensive service. Excursions: Ice sports and tennis centre, Ostsee-Therme (water park), Hansa-Park, Sealife Centre and Adventure-Farm Warnsdorf.
