Rødbyhavn is known above all as  a ferry harbour. The ferries cross between Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden
round the clock. Communication is on channel 74 (right of way must be given to incoming ferries). The  train and ferry terminal is located 200 m from the harbour with train connections to Copenhagen and Hamburg.

A 60 m long pontoon provides space for 18 boats. To the west of the harbour there is a sandy beach and countless sanddunes. The main road leading to the harbour provides everything necessary in the way of supplies and shops.

Suggestions for excursions:
The holiday centre Lalandia has holiday homes, covered swimming, supermarket, restaurants and much more and is open all year. A cycle tour along the Baltic Sea Way can be highly recommended.
