The harbour is located on Sakskøbing fjord which stretches for about 4 km past meadows, woods, fields and villas. Oreby castle guards the entrance, surrounded by its park which opens to the coast. Approx. 10 minutes walk to the market in Sakskøbing. Suggestions for excursions: Sakskøbing, a friendly town with its world-famous watertower, town walk to the church, numerous sculptures, the “turnip girls” and further on through the busy streets to the leisure park “Saxemarken” with a covered swimming pool, tennis, football and volley ball facilities. The “Old Smithy” is also well worth a visit.
