Tårs is well known as a ferry harbour. The harbour is located on the north side of Nakskov fjord towards Langelandsbelt. The harbour was modernised last year, and is a natural stopover for sailors on their way to the north or south. A small, good sandy beach. Campsite and mobile home site. Suggestions for excursions: Castle Frederiksdal and park 3 km to the north of the harbour. Købelhaven, a botanic garden approx. 5 km northeast of the harbour. Grøn Verden: a botanical project.
